Landable is a search tool. We do not require an account, email, or login to use it. The inputs you provide (your salary and current city) are processed in your browser and passed in the URL to generate ranked results. They are not stored anywhere.
We do not use cookies, local storage, or any other mechanism to persist your data between sessions.
When you use Landable, the following inputs are sent to our servers to compute your results:
These values are included in the URL of your results page and are processed server-side to return rankings. They are not logged, stored in a database, associated with your identity, or retained after the request completes.
Landable is hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically collects standard server logs including IP addresses, browser user agents, and request timestamps. These logs are retained by Vercel per their own privacy policy and are used for security and abuse prevention. We do not access or process these logs ourselves. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
City data (rents, weather, scores, photos) is stored in a Supabase database. User inputs are never written to this database. Only pre-computed city data is read from it. See supabase.com/privacy.
City photos are served directly from Pexels. When your browser loads a photo, Pexels may collect standard request data (IP address, user agent) per their own terms. See pexels.com/privacy-policy.
Every HTTP request to Landable (including the API calls that compute your results) carries your IP address, as is standard on the web. We do not log or store IP addresses ourselves. They are visible to Vercel's infrastructure for routing and security purposes, and are subject to Vercel's data retention practices. We do not use IP addresses to identify, profile, or track individual users.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker. We do not run any ad networks or retargeting. There are no tracking scripts on this site.
Landable does not set any cookies. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.
All of your search state (salary, city, weights) is encoded in the URL. If you share a results link, anyone with that URL can see the parameters it contains. This is intentional and is the sharing mechanic for the product. Do not share result URLs if you do not want others to see your salary input.
Landable is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If we materially change how data is handled (for example, by adding analytics), we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
